Join us for our second annual public sector extended webinar! This webinar will focus on skills and topics intended to enhance public sector internal audit services. Our keynote presentation will focus on performance auditing, a key practice to ensure public sector internal auditors are auditing to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of government programs, in order to help meet their organization’s important public service mission.
Additionally, the webinar will help public sector auditors familiar with either The IIA’s Global Internal Audit Standards or the GAO’s Generally Accepted Government Auditing Standards understand the similarities and differences between the two sets of Standards. This session will be especially helpful for auditors who are interested in or already follow both sets of Standards to ensure they are in conformance. The session will conclude with a panel discussion of some of the political changes we have experienced in the last several months and the potential impacts of such changes to the profession of internal auditing specifically in the public sector.
