LAKE MARY, FL (January 6, 2025) – The Institute of Internal Auditors (The IIA) is thrilled to announce the opening of nominations for the prestigious IIA Excellence Awards. From January 6 to February 17, the global internal audit community is encouraged to recognize outstanding teams and individuals who have made lasting impacts on the profession.
The IIA Excellence Awards honor trailblazers within the field and celebrate excellence in advancing internal audit education, aiming to inspire the next generation of leaders. Nominations can be submitted from peers, leaders, IIA National Institutes, and organizations that have showcased extraordinary achievements, with the nominator responsible for providing all necessary documentation.
A diverse panel of volunteer judges representing each IIA region will evaluate the nominations, with finalists submitted to the IIA Global Board for final approval. Award winners will be honored in July at The IIA’s 2025 International Conference in Toronto, receiving:
- One complimentary International Conference registration
- Personalized trophy/plaque
- Professional recognition in IIA magazine, website, social media, and emails
