Challenges in Public Sector Internal Auditing: Armenia

In Armenia, by the end of 2018, the number of internal auditors working in the public sector was 290 — more than in the country's private sector. Although public sector internal audit has its unique challenges, in Armenia there are local problems as well. This brief addresses these and other issues and proposes solutions based on international best practices.
