Welcome to the IIA Pittsburgh Chapter
The Pittsburgh Chapter exists as a service to our local and visiting IIA members. We offer local education and training, as well as networking opportunities through chapter meetings, seminars, and social events.
The Pittsburgh Chapter was chartered back on April 18, 1945 and is The IIA's 11th affiliate. This chapter is part of the IIA's Central Region. District 2 includes the following chapters: Pittsburgh, PA; Northeast, OH, Central Ohio, OH; Dayton, OH, and Cincinnati, OH. Back in 1945 we had a total 24 members, and today, we have over 750 members.Established in 1941, The Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) is an international professional association with global headquarters in Lake Mary, Florida, USA. The IIA is the internal audit profession's global voice, recognized authority, acknowledged leader, chief advocate, and principal educator. Generally, members work in internal auditing, risk management, governance, internal control, information technology audit, education, and security.
