We are pleased to be a 2023 Building Awareness Champion!
During Internal Audit Awareness Month in May, we shared our passion for internal auditing, promoting the profession through a variety of events and campaigns designed to inform and engage, raise awareness, and help stakeholders understand the value of internal audit in their organizations.

Phoenix IIA Chapter,
This year, we have several great events where you can network with your peers while getting CPE and learning about risks impacting our organizations or some tips and tricks for auditing. From our last member survey, we heard your feedback about our events, and I'm pleased to share we will continue to have both in-person and virtual events available for you this year. Our team of volunteers has set up training on various topics throughout the year, including Enterprise Risk Management, Fraud, Ethics, IPPF Standards and AI/ChatGPT, just to name a few. ...
The benefits of being a member of the IIA Phoenix Chapter do not just include training; we have networking opportunities where you can meet up with your peers to share your auditing highs and lows. But we'll also have time this year to stop thinking about work and spend time with our family and friends at our annual membership appreciation event, Zoolights, on December 7th. Beyond the training and networking, the Chapter continues to support our profession through advocacy efforts with government leaders and working with universities in our academic relations program. These two programs are vital to the future of our organization, and I look forward to sharing more about the programs throughout the year. Our volunteers' work behind the scenes to put together these opportunities does not go without notice. I appreciate the work of all our volunteers, and I am grateful for their support. If you've ever wanted to volunteer with the Chapter, know there is a seat at the table for you! Whether you want to help plan an event or do something smaller behind the scenes, we welcome the help.
I'm excited about all the events we have planned for the year, and I hope to see you at one of the many opportunities we have this year. Be sure to check out our LinkedIn page or Chapter website for more information on our schedule and to sign up for the events!
Stacey Linch, IIA Phoenix President
In 2023, thanks to our excellent members, the Phoenix Chapter maintained our Gold rating!
What is CAP?
The Chapter Achievement Program (CAP) is designed by the Institute of Internal Auditors to recognize activities that promote the strategic objectives of The IIA. This program provides minimum standards of performance, emphasizes the basic mission of the Chapter, encourages Chapters to perform that mission, and provides Chapters with a means to evaluate their success in accomplishing that mission.
Membership means access to our standards, guidance, networking, opportunities, and savings on world-class training.
