IIA Canada Awards
Since 2009, The Institute of Internal Auditors Canada (IIA Canada) has recognized internal audit professionals who have made outstanding contributions to the profession in three award categories. IIA Canada is proud to honour individuals for their exceptional achievements, leadership, dedication, and contributions to the internal audit profession in Canada.
Arthur Child Distinguished Service In Canada Award
The Arthur Child Distinguished Service in Canada Award recognizes individuals who have given outstanding and exceptional service to the profession of internal auditing through participation in the activities of IIA Canada. This award is presented annually. Nominations are judged based on the member’s service to IIA Canada and its Chapters and considers their involvement at the North American and Global levels.
Contribution To The Profession Of Internal Auditing Award
The Contribution to the Profession of Internal Auditing Award recognizes a member’s overall contribution to the internal audit profession in Canada and, where applicable, globally — through research, publications, education, or other developments in the field of internal auditing.
Lifetime Achievement Award
The Lifetime Achievement Award recognizes an individual’s lifetime achievements, leadership, contribution, and dedication to the internal audit profession, which has directly and positively impacted the profession and IIA Canada. While the award primarily recognizes contributions to IIA Canada, a nominee’s achievements, leadership, and, where applicable, dedication at The IIA North American and Global levels will also be considered.
