Welcome to the IIA Nisqually Chapter

“The Nisqually chapter is locate in southwestern Washington in the seat of the Capitol in Olympia. We have about 100 members, performing internal audit, mostly in State government. The chapter conducts training events about every two months between September and May. You can find here a listing of the next training event(s) on this website. Please come join us and learn how you can participate as an internal audit and a member of the chapter.

The Board Officers of the Nisqually chapter appreciate your visit to our web site. We would like to have your input to help us develop our training plan to most effectively meet the needs of our community. Please provide your comments, suggestions, and most importantly, your offer of assistance via email, Chapter176@iiachaptercommunications.org. Joining the chapter and participating in Chapter events is a great way to meet new people, learn new skills, provide a service to the audit community and expand your personal network. In addition, the Nisqually Chapter Board is always looking for new volunteers to serve as Board of Governor and to bring fresh perspectives and new voices for the chapter.”

The IIA Nisqually Board meets the first Tuesday of every month at 12:00 (noon) – 1:00 pm, with the exception April (spring break) and July/August (Board Planning meeting). The meetings are generally held virtually via Teams or Zoom platform.
